HSSC CET Examination and Marks for Group C Posts

Eligibility for HSSC Group C CET:

  1. Mandatory Requirement:
    All applicants intending to apply for Group C posts must appear in the CET for Group C posts.

  2. Requisition for Group C Posts:
    Advertisements for Group C posts will be issued based on requisitions from various Departments of the State Government, Boards, Corporations, Statutory bodies, or other agencies owned by the Haryana Government.

  3. Educational Qualification for CET:
    An applicant who does not possess the minimum educational qualification for CET before the last date of registration may still appear in the CET if they are due to complete the qualification within the same year. However, their name will only be considered for further rounds (e.g., skill/written examination) once the qualification is attained by the specified date.

  4. Age Eligibility for Group C:

    • An applicant must meet the age criteria (both minimum and maximum) as prescribed by the Haryana Government for the post.
    • Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classes (BC), and other specific categories as per the government’s guidelines.

Marking Scheme for Group C Posts:

  1. Minimum Required Marks:

    • For General Category applicants: A minimum of 50% marks in the CET is required to be eligible for the next stage (skill or written examination).
    • For Reserved Category applicants: There is a 10% concession in the minimum marks. Thus, the minimum cut-off for Reserved Category applicants is 40%.
  2. Re-appearance in CET:

    • If an applicant does not meet the required minimum marks, they must reappear in the CET in the next or any subsequent attempt to improve their score.
  3. Mark Declaration:

    • The CET marks will be declared on the official website of the Commission.
    • If an applicant improves their score in subsequent attempts, the updated marks will be considered, and their CET marks will be revised.
  4. Validity of CET Marks:

    • The CET marks will be valid for three years from the date of the declaration of the result.
    • If an applicant improves their marks in subsequent attempts, the three-year validity will reset from the new date of result declaration.
  5. Unlimited Attempts:

    • There are no restrictions on the number of attempts an applicant can make for the written examination component of CET. Applicants who have already qualified the CET for Group C posts may appear again to improve their CET marks.

  1. Mandatory Requirement:
    All applicants intending to apply for Group D posts must appear in the CET for HSSC Group D posts.

  2. Requisition for Group D Posts:
    Advertisements for Group D posts will also be issued based on requisitions from Departments, Boards, Corporations, Statutory bodies, or other Haryana Government-controlled agencies.

  3. Educational Qualification for CET:

    • An applicant who does not possess the minimum educational qualification for CET but has attained the minimum age before the last registration date can still appear in the CET.
    • However, they will only be eligible for selection against advertised posts once they have attained the minimum educational qualification and experience, if required, as specified in the advertisement.
  4. Age Eligibility for Group D:

    • As with Group C, the applicant must meet the minimum and maximum age requirements.
    • Age relaxation applies to candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classes (BC), and other specified categories as per Haryana Government rules.

Marking Scheme for Group D Posts:

  1. Minimum Required Marks:
