Admission Schedule
The Haryana D.El.Ed. Admission 2024 process will begin with online registrations from October 14 to October 23, 2024. During this period, candidates can register, pay the application fees, and fill out the online application form. Candidates must complete any remaining sections of their application by October 24, 2024. The list of admitted candidates will be published on October 25, 2024, at 3:00 PM, allowing students to download their provisional admit letters from October 25 to October 27, 2024. Students are required to report to their chosen colleges to finalize admissions during this time. Opportunities for changes in options and subsequent admission lists will be available through early November.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for the D.El.Ed. course is open to residents of Haryana and candidates from outside the state. Applicants must have a minimum of 50% marks in their Senior Secondary (10+2) with five subjects, including English. There is a relaxation of 5% for candidates from SC, BC, and Differently Abled categories. Additionally, candidates must have Hindi or Sanskrit included in their matriculation.
Application Process
To apply, candidates must select at least five institutions of their choice and submit their applications online through dedharyana.org or scertharyana.gov.in. The application fees are set at ₹500 for General category candidates and ₹275 for SC, BC, EWS, and Differently Abled candidates. It is important to note that these fees are non-refundable and can be paid via debit/credit card or Net Banking, specifically for Axis Bank account holders.
Admission Procedure
The admission procedure includes the preparation of a merit list based on candidates’ 10+2 examination marks, categorized by streams such as Science, Commerce, Arts, and Vocational. The seat distribution policy is clearly defined, and any vacant seats may be converted among the various streams to ensure optimal allocation.
Reservation Policy
The reservation policy aligns with the latest guidelines from the Haryana Government, with 20% of seats reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC), 16% for Block A (BCA), and 11% for Block B (BCB) of Backward Classes. Additionally, 3% of seats are reserved for Physically Challenged candidates, and 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
Fees for Self-Financed Institutions
Candidates opting for self-financed institutions should be aware that the annual fee is ₹25,800, excluding actual examination fees.
